Bicycle Brake Handle Impales Leg

A 15 year old female hit a pothole and when she fell on her bicycle she her left leg was impaled by the brake handle. This video demonstrates the management of this unique emergency. The patient returned to the ER about 3 days later and the wound edges were “freshened“ and the wound was closed (delayed primary closure).
