Guinea: Military coup supporters celebrate on the streets of Conakry

Subscribe to our channel! Celebrations broke out on the streets of Guinean capital, Conakry, on Sunday following reports of a military coup which ousted President Alpha Conde. Footage shows jubilant supporters cheering and applauding the military convoy passing through the city. The country’s special forces unit announced on state television that Conde was overthrown due to ‘poverty and endemic corruption’.
