Is the KONTAKT Factory Library 2 better than Stock Sounds?
Is the Kontakt Factory Library 2 worth having? Is it as good or better than Stock sounds in your DAW? Or is it just 40GB of wasted space?
Join me in my comparison between Native Instrument’s Kontakt Factory Library 2 and PreSonus Studio One’s Stock Sounds in Presence XT. I hope this will also let you judge how well Kontakt would stack up against your DAW’s Stock sound. Be it FL Studio, Logic Pro X, Ableton Live or whatever.

As a conclusion: Studio One has comparable sounds regarding the Orchestral and Band Banks, but when it comes to banks like Acoustic, Vintage or Choir, the Kontakt Factory Library 2 offers a wider variety of samples instruments like ethnic flutes like the bansuri or kaval, vintage electc synth pianos, good sounding melltoron sounds and morphing choirs.
