The Fastest Rapper from Every Country in the World | 2023

I’m proud to deliver this project to the world. This was the combined work of many hard-working and passionate fans of fast rap. The process of making this video can be traced back to 2018, on April 25 when I first made the draft for what this list would look like. Five years is what it took to accomplish this goal, which was initially merely a dream that was too ambitious to fulfil. Thanks everyone for the support, it’s what powers these videos to keep coming. I’ve never made a cent off of any of the content I’ve made throughout these years, and I do it only for the audience and fans that have picked up interest in these types of videos. To quickly summarise how the speed of these rappers are calculated: SPS, Syllables Per Second, is the long accepted unit of measurement of a rapper’s speed. On a fundamental level the process is simple enough, as the result is obtained by dividing the amount of syllables said by a rapper by the length of the timeframe they occupy on a song. We are essentially calculating the PEAK speed of a rapper in a verse, as opposed to alternatives such as the average speed of a verse. That being said, keep in mind that this is only our preferred method of calculation. I am by no means saying this is the godly and accurate method that everyone should use, because “accuracy“ depends on the perspective of what one deems to be so. You’ll find many others using music theory to calculate, or using a 10-second syllables method, or perhaps counting the syllables of an entire verse. All these methods deserve their respect. I have seen fans of mine who have attempted to downplay those who prefer a different method over the one we use, which is just unnecessary and rude. There are two countries which are factually impossible to have a “fastest rapper“ from. North Korea - For obvious reasons. Even if there were a North Korean who successfully fled the country and became a fast rapper, I would not want to give North Korea representation on this list (and I don’t think the rapper would either). Vatican City - For obvious reasons. This is the country housing the Pope and it’s governed by the Holy See. The 800 residents of the country consist of the clergy, and the Swiss Guards. As much as we’ve done countless of hours research into countries all over the world, and listened to vast discographies and viewed unknown 10~ view videos, we can’t listen to every song that was ever made. There are guaranteed to be faster rappers & verses out there that remain undiscovered and unknown to us. In such cases, I strongly request that you inform me of such rappers. I’m always wanting to learn and discover more fast rap, so any help that can be provided is greatly appreciated. But ultimately, I am happy with how this video and list has turned out, and I believe we’ve done a satisfactory job with each country presented on the list. Fast rap is everchanging, and there are always discoveries to be made. I love SPS and I will constantly be working on SPS even after this video is out.
