Get ready to feel the burn with this quick Tabata cardio arms workout.
Tabata is an exercise interval scheme that requires 20 seconds of exercise, and 10 seconds of rest. For this workout we will be doing an active rest during the 10 second interval by walking on the spot (or around your living room if you feel inclined to move around)
I am using 3lb weights today. You can use any 1-5lb weights or even go for a crazier burn with 8-10lb weights. If you are just starting and prefer to do this workout without weights, it can still be effective if you stay consistent and start using weights when you no longer feel challenged!
If you want to see results, make sure to stay consistent with training your arms and upper body at least 2-3 times per week. Also consider your nutrition; are you eating the foods that will support a healthy metabolism and the amount that will allow your body to lose fat? If you are in a caloric surplus, you won’t lose fat no matter how hard you work on one muscle group.
Nutrition and exercise go hand in hand. One can not be effective without the other when building lean muscle and shedding fat.
But you’ve got this. Whatever your goal is, it is totally valid and you CAN achieve it if you set your mind to it, make a plan and follow through!
