Let’s make an habanero salsa today. This salsa is absolutely delicious with seafood, fish or anything with a lot of lime juice. It is very spicy but freaking good! Follow me : Twitter : Facebook : Instagram : Habanero Salsa 1 large tomato 1/2 a white onion 2 garlic loves 6 to 8 habanero peppers — stemmed and seeded Salt 2 cups water 1 tablespoon white vinegar 1 tablespoon agave or 1 teaspoon sugar Place the tomato, onion and garlic in a dry skillet and char, flipping occasionally. Add the habaneros and the water. Scrape the bottom of the pan. Add salt - be generous as this is a very spicy salsa. Mix and cover the pan. Simmer for 15 minutes. Remove the pan form the heat and allow cooling down. Transfer to a blander with about 1/2 of the remaining liquid. Add the vinegar and the agave. Blend until smooth. Keep this salsa for 2 to 3 weeks in the fridge in a closed container. This salsa goes very nicely with fish and seafood and anything that has a lot of lime in it.
