Mohammed bin Rashid approves ‘Dubai Master Plan for Public Beaches’ - New Plan, which forms part of the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, aims to increase length of public beaches by 400% by 2040. - Plan includes opening of new public beaches and the development of existing ones. - Length of Dubai public beaches will increase from 21 km to 105 km; initial phase of new Plan aims to add 54 km of public beaches. - Services offered on public beaches will increase 300% by 2025. -‘Dubai Master Plan for Public Beaches’ features opening of Jebel Ali Public Beach and the development of Al Mamzar Public Beach. - Public beaches across Dubai will have facilities that meet the requirements of people of determination. - All public beaches in the emirate have received the Blue Flag certification.
