RACISM IN POLICING

@sociologistray Over 1,000 people are killed by police every year . Every 8 hours police kill someone . Blacks are 3.5 times more likely than Whites to be killed by police when people are not attacking nor have a weapon . Over $2B in taxpayer money was spent on police misconduct settlements in only the past 5 years in only the top 20 metro areas. Even more was spent in the other 17,980 police departments.
