The surgical and aligner treatment of an impacted UL1: Part 1｜【Chris Chang Ortho】CC785

[case report] This presentation is a two-part series featuring the surgical and aligner treatment of an impacted UL1. At first, the treatment was to create space and wait for spontaneous eruption. However, after 10 months and still there was no sign of change. So the ARF procedure was conducted to expose the impacted UL1 and a button was bonded to attach inter maxillary elastics. Finally scan for the sequent aligner therapy. Partial fixed appliances were used in the anterior segment to bring down the high impacted tooth. 本案例報告將分上下兩篇，描述以手術合併aligners來治療UL1阻生齒的治療。一開始的治療計畫希望透過創造空間，讓牙齒自然萌發。但等待10個月後仍無萌發跡象，所以改以ARF術式來暴露UL1阻生齒，並黏上button連結intermaxillary elastics來將牙齒拉到正確的咬合位置。最後再掃描製作aligners排齊，並在前牙區使用fixed appliances將高位阻生齒拉到咬合面。
