UFO spotted over South Shields, 22/07/18 at

Just finished work (taxi driver) at on Sunday 22nd July 2018 when I saw something in the sky over the sea. It was not a plane because it did not leave a long tail of gas/ fumes whatever you call it, no this had a short tail that followed the cycliner looking object it eventually disappeared, I’m thinking it was maybe a meteor as their was no engine noise but who knows, maybe someone else can shine some light on this, hopefully someone had a better camera than me but I’ve never seen anything like tha
