2011 New Year’s Wishes with Dancing Cranes Chinese Brush Painting on Double Xuan Paper

Happy New Year 2011! Among all Asian cultures, the crane has been a symbol of happiness and wisdom and longevity. Since the end of WWII, the folded paper cranes also came to symbolize a hope for good health and peace. As I mentioned in the video this painting is a tribute to master Wu Guanzhong(吴冠中), who passed away on June 25, 2010 at the age of 91.
