Rolf Uusväli plays selections of the chorale preludes from The “Neumeister collection“ by JS Bach

(See video description for a detailed list of pieces) The present recording is taken from now historic series of LPs called “Eesti orelid“ (“Organs of Estonia“). The plate is no. 27 of the serie and it was released in 1989 and recorded in 1988. This LP has presented the sound of the Gustav Terkmann organ (the date of constuction is 1903/04, 20/II/P) in Hageri village Church. The recording is perhaps one of the earliest ones of the chorales from the so called Neumeister collection, which was discovered just a few years earlier than the recording was made 1.
