Conquering one of the toughest routes in the Alps: Nathalie Schneitter and the Glacier Bike Express

The Glacier Bike Tour leads in 10 stages, 370 kilometers, and 9500 meters in altitude through 3 cantons. Always along the picturesque railway route of the Glacier Express, the route starts in St. Moritz, first over the Albula Pass, before two more high-caliber passes await with the Oberalp Pass and the Furka Pass. While the Glacier Bike Express route is designed for touring e-bikes, Nathalie Schneitter’s project proves that the route can also be ridden on a gravel bike. The reigning E-MTB world champion spends many hours on her gravel bike in her free time and has found more and more pleasure in ultra-distances in recent months. So why not ride the route in one go? Without a break. But with the anticipation of the view of the Matterhorn.
