Heavy rains lash Mumbai; IMD predicts thundershowers to continue

In the mid of October, Mumbai continues to see heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms. On Friday, several parts of the city were waterlogged, leading to massive traffic jams and disruption. Two persons died in a lightning strike in a hamlet in Bhiwandi in Thane district.
