The single was an international success both upon its original 1976 release and also when - remixed by The DMC (Disco Mix Club) - it was reissued ten years later (the DMC version features the instrumental “Sunburn“ by the Biddu Orchestra as its B-side). Tina Charles (born Tina Hoskins; 10 March 1954) is an English singer who achieved success as a disco artist in the mid to late 1970s. Her most successful single was the UK no. 1 hit “I Love to Love (But My Baby Loves to Dance)“ in 1976. This version was recorded and broadcast during a celebration program on the 75th anniversary of broadcaster AVRO on April 4, 1998 in the tv-program called ’TopPop terug op televisie’.
