The Movie Buff at Tribeca | “Agnes“ Interview | Molly C. Quinn, Mickey Reece
In “Agnes,” a priest and a priest in training visit a convent after reports of demonic possession. This leads to a story of possession and crises of faith, for the priests and for the nun Mary, especially, played by Molly C. Quinn.
At this year’s Tribeca Film Festival, I had the pleasure to speak with actress and executive producer Molly C. Quinn, as well as director and co-writer Mickey Reece about their new film, which premiered as part of the Tribeca Online Premieres at this year’s festival on June 12.
We spoke about Molly preparing to play Mary, how she came on board as an executive producer, as well as Mickey creating the distinct nuns, boom boxes, trademark wheelchairs and much more, like the size of the production for this film and how that’s bigger than anything Mickey’s done before.
Agnes is playing as a part of Tribeca at Home through June 23rd where tickets are $15, and you can find out all the necessary information right here.
