From new CD, available at or TAB at Here´s the beautiful song “The Rose“ written by Amanda McBroom and made famous by Bette Midler in the movie “The Rose“ from 1979. I did this arrangement after a request from my girlfriend :) An open G tuning seemed to work well for the melody line... Played on my old Alvarez 5220CEQ, which was standing alone and sad in a corner and just happened to be tuned to an open G.
