Cruising Down Memory Lane | BOAT LIFE | The Good, The Bad and The Beautiful

This week I have a crew member for the day and go and visit the Battle of Bosworth or Bosworth Field as it’s also known. This was the last significant battle of the Wars of the Roses, the civil war between the houses of Lancaster and York and where King Richard 3rd lost his life. We also cruise to Market Bosworth to visit the Battle Line Railway that is operated by the Shackerstone Railway Society to board an old train. The Ashby Canal is full of history and I’ve really enjoyed my time here and I’m so excited to continue my adventure over the next few weeks to see what else this wonderful canal has to offer. ------------ Thank you so much for watching.
