S. Korea, U.S. agree to work more closely together ahead of Russia’s foreign minister visit to NK this week 한미 북핵대표 “정보공유•대응조치 긴밀공조“ 북, 러 외무 18∼19일 방북 공식발표 Just days after the U.S. claimed that North Korea delivered military equipment to Russia, South Korea and the United States have pledged to work more closely together. During a meeting held on Monday in Jakarta between South Korea’s top nuclear envoy Kim Gunn and his U.S. counterpart Sung Kim, the two agreed to share information about additional military cooperation between North Korea and Russia and to respond firmly to North Korea’s provocations such as the expected launching of a spy satellite sometime in October. This comes after Washington said on Friday that North Korea sent Russia more than 1-thousand containers of military equipment for use in the fighting in Ukraine.
