I Tried Village Food in Pakistan... How Was It?

While in a village in Pakistan, I try some local food that’s come straight from the nearby farm. It’s so pure, it really blew my mind with the freshness and taste. You only find this type of food in villages. On the menu was the most famous winter dish in Punjab, Sarso Ka Saag Makki Roti (Mustard Leaf Curry with Cornmeal Bread सरसों का साग मक्के की रोटी). Followed by a sweet and spicy chicken curry. On the side were tons of homemade butter for the bread and fresh yoghurt. Sarso Ka Saag Makki Roti is also eaten across the border in North India too. We eat it in my Wife @Manisha Malik’s village during the mustard crop harvesting. It’s cooked exactly the same and the taste is the same. The village location is somewhere near Sahiwal in the providence of Punjab in Pakistan. Watch my full tour of a Pakistani village
