Aleksandr Zakharchenko’s parents were awarded the Order “Man of Planet Earth“ “Undoubtedly, we are pleased that our son was honored with this award. As far as I know, 16 people have received this Order. Our son is the 17th. We are proud that Sasha’s life and work are recognized with it,“ said Vladimir Zakharchenko, the father of the first Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic. This order has been awarded to: Cosmonauts: Valentina Tereshkova, Aleksey Leonov, Sergey Krikalev, Valery Bykovsky, Victor Savinykh; Artists: Iosif Kobzon, Armen Dzhigarkhanyan, Nikita Mikhalkov, Oleg Tabakov, Eldar Ryazanov, Valentin Gaft, Galina Volchek, Yury Solomin, Bohdan Stupka.
