Fire emerging from water well in Chamchamal, Sulaymaniya, Iraq

Field visit on 24th May 2017 with Alessandro Tinti, who is researcher and PHD Candidate from Italy to a well in Gurgai village which is located near Chamchamal about 55km from Sulaimani (N º E º). We saw the well in which fire emerged from the well’s water due to the large amount of Sulfur & Methane gas, we smelled rotting eggs which made us nauseous. This prodigy happened in 1987 in the same area for the first time and repeated before 2 years ago and still continue. Your suggestion? ----- Diary Muhamad Rashid Nature Iraq
