When I was 16 years old I met Jerry Reed at Mark Thornton’s studio in Nashville. My mentor and teacher Buster B. Jones set up a visit with Jerry and a group of us had lunch with him and Mark. After lunch we got our guitars out and had the honor of playing some songs for Reed. Don’t know if I’ve ever been so nervous.
