You got me working working working working
Working so hard on this land of mine,
working so hard on this land of mine,
You have got to work it work it work it, do not let go
Work it work it work it do when I say so,
I can bear all my fruits for you
I can bear all my beautiful fruits for you
If you work it , work it, work it, in the right flow
work it , work it, work it, dont let go
You can plant all your peppers in my garden
You can plant all your beautiful peppers in my garden,
If you dig it dig it dig it, do not let go
Dig it dig it dig it, when I say so
I can show you my blossoms and my flowers
I can show you all my blossoms and my flowers
if you push it, pull it, pull it in the right way
dont push it, pull it, pull it, if I dont say

OKO have mixed traditional vocal harmonies and new sounds inspired by Bulgarian, Serbian, Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, Laz, Georgian, and Turkish folk songs on this debut album. It draws out stories that tell of universal experience — stories that unite us and with which we can all identify... love, friendship, pain, anger, disappointment. Particularly focusing on a female perspective, OKO connects their own contemporary world with old experiences from different times, places and realities
OKO: Vocal polyphony and tradition confront modernity and global perspectives, questioning what brings us together and what tears us apart. The timeless ancestral call of three voices and traditional instruments saz and violin, mash together with synths, electric guitar, loop station and electronic soundscapes.
OKO consists of the following artists who are currently working on their own respective projects
Petra Nachtmanova (voice, saz, çiftelija, bass, percussion)
Moss Beynon Juckes (voice, violin, guitar and electronics),
Emma Greenfield (voice, guitar, cornet, percussion)
