Why Kabbalah Is NOT a Science Like Other Sciences

What does it mean that Kabbalah is the science of the non-physical reality? Why is this non-physical reality hidden from us? How can we get instructions about attaining this non-physical reality? Why do we find the instructions in Kabbalah so strange and even unacceptable? Kabbalah is not a science like other sciences. It deals with everything above the physical. So what is above the physical? How is it connected to us? Where in us do we find a place for that? We are not exiled from this “non-physical” reality, but it is hidden because we are using the wrong aspect of ourselves. The whole point of Kabbalah is to teach a person how to understand that part of ourselves that is reason and instruct on the part of ourselves that we completely underestimate and devalue. We do not even consider this part of us as anything, and we do not understand that the basis of reality is in this opposite quality. It is a quality that is very near to us, but it is not natural for us to use it. We need some instructions about how to use this part of us. This instruction comes from nature, but it is conveyed through certain people. We can’t actually start perceiving it without receiving instructions from people who also received it from others who also received it from nature through others, who also received it from nature through others who received it from nature, and so on. It is a science that deals with everything above the physical, and it is easy to enter, but at the same time, it is the opposite.
