YouTube claimed that the offending material was blocked by The Moody Blues, so we are reuploading the remainder of the concert so that the rest is still publicly available. During the production of Balance Of Power, ELO co-founder Bev Bevan was brought into a group who hoped to raise funds to help rebuild and refurbish the Birmingham Children’s Hospital, which set an optimistic goal of £1,000,000. Inspired by Live Aid in 1985, Bevan quickly recruited Roy Wood and the pair went about recruiting the best and brightest musical acts Birmingham had to offer. Once all was said and done, the pair had assembled the likes of The Moody Blues, The Steve Gibbons Band, Robert Plant, and George Harrison.
