This tutorial shows you the simple way to make a crocheted pyramid bag. I teach you the concept you need to know for making it any style you want, but also the supplies I use to make my exact bag. For an Ad-free, printable pdf see my Etsy shop Dayscrochetnc or my Ravelry shop at Please note that you do not have my permission to sell, illegally share, translate, copy, or duplicate this pattern or my photos in any way. Please do not use this pattern for a video, blog, or class tutorial. Thank you so much for following these simple rules! Please message me on Facebook or send me an email at dayscrochetnc@ with any questions. For supplies, you need: -J 6.0 mm hook (or the hook recommended by your yarn sleeve) -Bernat Home Maker Dec (Camo-looking one was made with Pebble Beach Varg, the tutorial used Cream). You can find different colors at . Note that they are currently out of stock in several colors, but a member of their staff says they are waiting on a shipment to come in of more. You can also substitute other yarns and colors of your choice by following my measurements and substitution tips I give you. -Wooden bead assortment bucket, found at Wal-mart in the bead and jewelry-making aisle. -Strung wooden beads, found in Hobby Lobby’s bead aisle. (Their beads are 50% off every other week, so be sure and check before you buy!) -Monofilament Illusion Cord, found in Wal-mart in the bead and jewelry-making aisle. You need it to be a non-stretchy nylon cording. -Wooden O-ring, or any substitute. Mine measures approximately 2 cm or a little under 1“ in the internal diameter. I purchased an assortment bag off of Amazon for relatively cheap. I use them for a lot of my bags, but if you are only doing this one bag, I recommend checking Hobby Lobby for a small bag of them. (I know I have seen the wooden O-rings there). -Leather assortment bag, found in Hobby Lobby in their Leather-making aisle. You can also find it at . -Clear nylon sewing thread, found at most craft stores. I bought mine in Wal-mart in the thread section. -7“ zipper to match the color of your bag. Since this is a “busy“ bag, I recommend the same color as your bag, or one that subtly off-sets the color. I like to buy the YKK or Coats and Clark zippers because they are better quality. You do not want your zipper to be flimsy. Follow me on social media!
