Abandoned 18th C stable becomes modern classic home

Asked to convert the stables of an 18th century villa into a home for a couple and their daughter, Paolo Gelso and Nicoletta Binello designed minimal modern inserts to preserve all the original features of the former manger: a stone trough, a doric column and vaulted ceilings.
