1992 Mercedes-Benz W140 S 600 L 7.0 AMG or S70 AMG - most rare S-class

The W140 Mercedes S600 was a remarkable car in itself being filled with world firsts in safety and comfort. The S600 was also a class leader in performance with 394HP and 570nm torque from its 6 liter V12 and it was capable to do the 0-100 sprint in 5.6 seconds and would go all the way to 288km/h. When AMG got their hands on the M120 engine they did what AMG does best, they made it bigger. They bored it out to an unholy 7 liters increasing the power to 496HP and 719nm torque. With its newfound power mated to a 5-speed automatic gearbox, the S70 was able to do the 0-100 in 5,2 seconds and kept going all the way up to an insane 300km/h. #w140 #s70amg #s600v12 #oldbenz source: The Deane Motors,
