1 Hour of KPD/ML Music (Communist Party of Germany/Marxist-Leninist)
The Communist Party of Germany (Marxist-Leninist) or KPD/ML was a Maoist and Hoxhaist anti-revisionist party operating in West and (clandestinely) East Germany in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. Led by Ernst Aust and Wolfgang Eggers, it opposed both the FRG and GDR (the first as imperialist, the second as social-fascist) and called for a unified socialist Germany free of foreign troops. It upheld the legacy of the interwar KPD of Ernst Thaelmann and opposed the SED of Honecker.
This video includes 20 tracks, of which 19 are original KPD/ML recordings from the 1970s. The last track is not a song but a very rare 7-minute illegal broadcast of Radio Tirana inside East Germany, sending a pro-KPD/ML and anti-SED message.
