Project : Custom made downhill skateboard truck student project

Imagine designing, manufacturing and riding your own custom downhill skateboard in less than a year. Does that seem impossible? Not for EAH University student Philipp Manger, who has taken his passion for downhill skateboarding a step further. He developed skateboard trucks that are a hybrid design combining topological optimization and lattice structures using Autodesk Fusion 360 and Netfabb, and then had them metal printed using Concept Laser.
