Atom Exit the Documentary Premiere The Energiewende in Germany has so far led to few real reductions in emissions. In fact, they messed up in Germany. The construction of windmills and solar parks, for many billions of Euro’s, has been used as an excuse to get rid of nuclear energy. This while they use brown coal to get their electricity; the dirtiest form of energy generation; resulting in the morbidity and mortality among the population that you can expect. The leitmotif of the documentary Atom Exit is a tour of all still operational German nuclear power stations and a visit to lignite mines, lignite power stations and the Nordstream project. We expose the ethical and moral flaws of the choices Germany makes with an Energiewende that is at the same time an Atom-Ausstieg (“Atom Exit“).
