The ’A Day in Pompeii’ exhibition was held at Melbourne Museum from 26 June to 25 October 2009. Over 330,000 people visited the exhibition - an average of more than 2,700 per day making it the most popular traveling exhibition ever staged by an Australian museum. Since then the animation has traveled the world, being seen by over one million people.
ZERO ONE created the animation for an immersive 3D theatre installation which gave visitors a chance to experience the drama and terror of the town’s citizens long ago, and witness how a series of eruptions annihilated Pompeii over a 24 hour period.
This video is available in full Ultra-HD (4k) resolution, both mono and stereoscopic (for use with 3D glasses), and 360 degree Virtual Reality for all platforms. Please get in touch with ZERO ONE through our website for licensing information for exhibitions, or to discuss providing you with customised 3D Visualisation solutions. Copyright 2010 ZERO ONE.
