Needle Felting: An Owl

I originally made these owls as a brooch for workshops but later decided to fill them out to make a 3d creature. As with most of my creatures this one is based on a dome which makes it nice and easy to make even for a beginner so definitely try this one at home! If you wanted to have a go you will need - A felting surface, I use a cloth bag filled with rice A fine felting needle, preferably in a handle Finger protectors (unless you like the sight of blood) A felted dome in brown fibre - If you’re not sure how to felt a dome then I have just the video for you Matching brown fibre (either carded or roving) for the wings if needed Cream, light brown, dark brown and grey fibre for the details 2 x 6mm beads for eyes A needle and black thread Those of you who’ve seen my earlier videos may notice that you don’t get to see me in this video (except my hands of course), I don’t know if this is a good or bad thing, let me know in the c
