Despite there being an incoming ice storm, I decided it would be interesting to see what was going on outside the US Capitol fence. Would there be protestors? Would there be people celebrating? And the answer—there is a whole lot of nothing. National Guard soldiers in winter rain gear, standing along a fence line that was empty. It took me a while just to find ONE protestor, and he’s there all the time.
