🔥 Military helicopter Chinook (D-480 Boeing CH-47F) at ’’Rescue Heroes’’ Aviodrome (20-08-2022) 💥

The military power helicopter came to the event at Aviodrome and landed at Lelystad Airport (EHLE). The modern aircraft is part of the Defense Helicopter Command (298 Squadron) and is stationed at Gilze-Rijen Air Base. The public was instructed to keep a safe distance due to the massive downwash (wind force 13). This 11-ton helicopter can fly at an altitude of approximately 7 km and achieves a cruising speed of 315 km/h with it’’s very strong Honeywell T55-GA-714A turbo engines, making it the fastest aircraft of the Royal Dutch Air Force.
