Scott Joplin - Original Rags Vol. 4 - 432Hz

Scott Joplin (born November 24, 1868 in Marshall, died April 1, 1917 in New York) - American composer and pianist, ragtime style popularizer. He became famous as the creator of the first African-American opera - A Guest of Honor. In 1908, his textbook The School of Ragtime - Six Exercises for Piano was published. Zasłynął jako twórca pierwszej opery afroamerykańskiej – A Guest of Honor. W 1908 r. zostaje opublikowany jego podręcznik The School of Ragtime - Six Exercises for Piano. Kojarzony jest przede wszystkim z kompozycjami ragtime: Maple Leaf Rag z 1899 i The Entertainer z 1902
