Spinning on Royale Hare spindle Part 1 basics

The Royale Hare spindle is a modern masterpiece, brass spindle resting on a brass base with ball bearings. This allows “hands free“ spinning so you can draft things like wool and other longer fibers that you aren’t able to spin on other support spindles. It’s one of my favorite spinning tools - especially if you want to spin on the go. These are still available - Woodland Woodworks sells them, and I think they are also available from the maker.
