A Handful of 30 Million Year Old Fossil Whale Teeth

We found a pond with really good Chandler Bridge formation exposed. We found the usual assortment of nice shark teeth but this spot had quite a few fossil whale teeth, too. Always fun to find find those - it was a period of time where whales were evolving rapidly so there is a lot to be learned from intact skulls. Unfortunately I didn’t find a skull this time around, but there were enough teeth to make me think there was one somewhere!
