Quick Joke: Lesbian Pregnancy

One of my most popular shorts, brought live to the stage. In the comments section, there was always a 90% (give or take) acceptance rate, and a 10% group of cackling Karens saying the joke is politically incorrect, in poor taste, or mean. And therein is the difference between a live performance and a spoken word video, and the difference between people actively going out to a comedy club to see comedy, and people sitting at home on their computers (or phones), ready to judge whatever dissatisfies them. Ultimately, this joke (at least to commenters on the previous, into the camera version) became about financial literacy; spending what you don’t have, the cost of raising a child, what it means to use GoFundMe for reasons other than emergencies or medical needs... Debate is beautiful, and I enjoy watching people get into it on my page. (I rarely intervene, but have stepped in when one party is being exceptionally abusive instead of logical or reasonable.)
