Festival of Steam 2024 - At Thirlmere Station

The 2024 Thirlmere Festival of Steam - day 1. Action at and around Thirlmere station. Two trains were in operation: The Buxton shuttle with 3265 & 3001 “topping & tailing“ the passenger cars. Whilst on the Picton shuttle, historic diesel loco 4001 was on the Picton end of the train with Garratt 6029 on the other.
