China’s first giant ’ro-ro’ ship begins maiden voyage

For more: China’s first large car carrier ship was put into operation on Monday, with a naming and maiden voyage ceremony in Shanghai. The ship, named “Jiuyang Blossom,“ boasts a carrying capacity of 7,000 cars, started its maiden voyage from Shanghai Nangang Terminal to the Waigaoqiao Port Area, carrying 3,000 Hyundai and Lincoln vehicles.
