Elderly Man Sets Himself on Fire As Deputies Try to Evict Him

* (Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only) * Oklahoma City, Oklahoma — On April 1, 2024, two Oklahoma County deputies were serving an eviction notice at a home on Flamingo Avenue in Oklahoma City. As they were trying to find lodging for the elderly, handicapped woman who lived there, a man, 82-year old Anthony Goulding who also lived in the home began dousing the floor around his feet with gasoline. One of the deputies tackled Goulding, and as she was trying to get control of him, he pulled out a lighter and set himself on fire. Deputies were able to save the wife from the burning home, but Goulding was killed in the blaze.
