The Evolution of Assyrian Propaganda (Palace Reliefs)
In this video, I will explore the evolution of Assyrian carved reliefs through the Neo-Assyrian kings’ reigns. This important visual expression of power was used in unique ways by each king and has much to tell us about the changing priorities of the king and his political machine.
