3D Log Spiral Captured Lightning sculpture (Lichtenberg Figures)

A two-layer 3D Captured Lightning sculpture created by Stoneridge Engineering using a 5 Million Volt particle accelerator. Precision lead masks were used to selectively irradiate this 8“ x 8“ x 1.5“ specimen of Plexiglas on two sides. This required passing the specimen through the electron beam in two passes.
