**World’s largest plane**, the Antonov AN-225 Mriya - Arrival & Departure at Brize Norton, UK

Well, it’s back, the largest plane in the world once again graces the British skies. The Antonov AN-225 Mriya is the largest plane in the world and can carry up to 640 tonnes of cargo, the rare visit saw spotters from all corners of the UK coming to visit and see the monstrosity of this amazing piece of kit. The aircraft arrived on a 10 hour flight from Karachi, bringing in 3 RAF Puma’s from Afghanistan. She arrived in Runway 07 due to taxiing restrictions, giving me a beautiful head on approach of her as she touched down. The Police did try to move people on claiming we couldn’t stand between the road runway lights, however no one really took any notice and carried on anyway. 3 hours later, she was finally closed up and taxied out to depart 25, giving off a very powerful jetblast which dessimated the perimeter fence, much to the RAF’s disappointment, beautiful sunset skies as she departed, such an amazing aircraft to see
