Moment rivals Harris and Trump shake hands at 9/11 memorial service in New York

Kamala Harris thanked Donald Trump as the pair shook hands at a 9/11 memorial service in New York hours after their bruising debate. Joe Biden smiled as the two political rivals reached across him to exchange pleasantries at the event at Ground Zero. Michael Bloomberg, who was elected as the city’s mayor weeks after the 2001 terror attack, appeared to have orchestrated the encounter, tapping Ms Harris on the shoulder before she turned around and greeted Trump.
