Russia sets date for 2024 presidential election

러시아, 내년 3월로 대선 날짜 확정 Now to Russia where the date of the country’s 2024 presidential election has been set for March 17th. Members of the Federation Council, Russia’s upper house of parliament, on Thursday voted unanimously to approve the motion. Incumbent president, Vladimir Putin, who is in his fourth term in office, has not yet announced his intention to run again, but is expected to do so soon. Under current constitutional rules, Putin is eligible to stay in power for two more six-year terms.
