Steampunk heart pendant! Polymer clay easy tutorial

Make a polymer clay steampunk heart pendant, following this easy tutorial. Entirely made of polymer clay you don’t need any actual gears or metal parts, only their imprints on polymer clay. The only things you need are black polymer clay, liquid polymer clay and metallic mica powders (silver, copper and gold) to create a basic 3 segments steampunk heart. As for the mechanical details, I used imprints that I got easily by pressing parts from a dismantled clock, a toy car’s wheel and screws on small pieces of black polymer clay. For texturing the surface I used an old brush. But, of course you can try different colors, textures and imprints to create your own beautiful Steampunk heart pendant. Important tips: keep the basic heart thick so it won’t break and make the hole on the piece and not insert an eye hook because it will distort the shape. Enjoy!
