AMTRAK and Snowy Glacier NP! Empire Builder!

Wondering how to spend a fabulous day? AMTRAK’s Empire Builder! We traveled from Whitefish, Montana (this is Glacier National Park) to St. Paul/Minneapolis! AND, it was fabulous! This was the end of September and we were super lucky because this area got it’s first snow of the year. was amazing! Riding along the bottom of Glacier National Park in the snow. So completely beautiful. The train ride itself is quite the journey, but with the snow. Amazing! This journey was just about 24 hours in a roomette. Hopped on in Whitefish, Montana at 7:30 in the morning and hopped off in St. Paul at about 8:00 in the morning. Ate all our meals in the dining car. Remember, if you’re in a ’sleeper car’, you get all your meals included. And, the meals are surprisingly good! Plus, our roomette suited us perfectly! If you want more room, go for a family room.
